Who's who books are largely scams. After a supposed rigorous selection process individuals are asked to buy an expensive book with their information in it or sometimes they are asked to pay for a larger entry or some made up honor.

AFAIK nobody ever looks in most of these books and the honor of inclusion is dubious at best.

those books are SOOO dumb. they make you pay a ton of money so that dombody can stalk you. first of all, who would BUY that book? ONLY A STALKER. it has all your information in it! also, people who are super smart dont even get asked to be in that book, or cant afford it.

My son was to be included in the 2006-2007 book, I ordered it almost a year ago, it was to be distributed in September 07, I never received it, I phoned them in November, they said I never ordered one and that all printing has stopped, and I could probably find one at a library,. I've tried 12 libraries so far, none carry it. They gave me a fax number to fax a credit card statement proving I purchased it and they'd offer a refund. No refund has been forthcoming. This is an extremely rogue operation.
