Is a scrunchie a fashion no?

Asked by babylove138 3 months ago, 5 answers.

I'm trying to grow out my hair but those elastic bands are too rough on my hair even if I'm super gentle. I have this silk hair scrunchie in black...would that look totally stupid if I wore it out? Like to school/work? Mind you I have to dress up for...

work.

I love scrunchies - if you like them - does it really matter what anyone else thinks?!?!?

you can make them really easy...I'm growing my hair (again! - after one dodgy spiral perm and I had to have my waist length hair cut off )

but I use these hair bands that have a innner lining of gentle rubberish stuff, it doesn't split the ends on my hair,, but it does ensure it's help in and lookes like a perfectly normal hair band to everyone else...with them I can use stuff like pins / clips and other accesories to make it look a little 'tidier'

but as for the scrunchies, its your hair, your choice but I think they're great, so easy just to put round your wrist when not in use ...

It would look great. The only time a scrunchie is a no would be...during a really formal event (prom!), or when it completely clashes with your outfit. But a plain black one would look great for pretty much anything.
