Is 6lb fishing line too light for catching bass?

I want to fight with teh fish and catch bass is 6 pound line to light ?

Yes, it is. 8- to 14- or 10- to 17-pound line is recommended for bass, with 15lb the most prevalent.

no I dont think so. I've caught 15 and 20 pound king salmons on 6 pound test on a little trout pole.

I would get a stronger line...
like 12 lbs...
or somethn if they arent going to be that big
it depends on where your going to be fishin 2
