You need to have ITunes which you can download for Free from the Apple site. {This is for Windows as well as for Macintosh computers} You can then use ITunes to list your own CD by just putting the CDs into your computer and hitting IMport. Next, you attach your IPod to the computer, ITunes opens, recognises your IPod {You may be asked some questions the first time you use that IPod on that computer} and you can then get your music onto your IPod.
