No there are other MP3 players that have the same features like Zuma from Microsoft. Also do your research and you can find players cheaper. Compare throught the internet or your local retail store.

pretty sure you do but you can try this free software ehpod.com. its a great program allows you to put more than one persons library and also allows you to upload music from your ipod to your computer. used it to transfer my friends entire library to my computer
