if your ipod is in the process of syncing songs from your itunes, then no. but if it's just charging, then yes you can listen to it.

Yes, you can. When my iPod needs charging, I'll go on my iTunes program and click on a favorite song to listen to, while I'm waiting for it to charge. Depending on how low the battery is, it could take up to one to two hours for it to be fully charged.

Just remember: Do not overcharge it, or it will easily freeze.
