What's a cool instrument to play besides guitar?

I want to play guitar but my finger aren't long enough. That's what my mom says! Are there any other cool instruments?

well it depends on what type of instrument you are looking for. I would suggest for a instrument that would take you in a band would be drums or keyboard. if you want jazz then a trumpet or a saxaphone. there are like millions of instruments to play and the ones I suggested I play so I know if they're hard, and in a way they are and in a way they are easy.

Uhm, your fingers aren't long enough? It doesn't matter what size fingers you have! My brother has like..the smallest fingers ever and he plays the electric guitar. And is really good at it.

trumpet and drums you dont need long fingers they can 1inch short and you can still play but keyboard you do have a better advantage w/ long fingers

There are lots of other cool instruments. You just need to find something that works for you. I'm pretty sure your fingers can't be "too short" to play the guitar, but I could be wrong. Either way, if your mind is really set on that, maybe you will grow into it. Remember, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. I definitely believe that, and you should as well. As for me, I like the drums! Good luck!

about what pmsxd said about your finger size not be the prob. in a way she/he is right you can play with short fingers but like with the keyboard you have a much greater advantage.

you could try the drums...I have long slender piano fingers and I play guitar I'm pretty good I've been playing since I was 10...so I recommend drums and if you really want to I'd juts try guitar just to see if you like it
