How soon does pregnancy swell your stomach?

Well If I was 1 or 2 wks pregnant could I feel the swelling in my stomach or is it too early to show any signs? Please send me some answers.

If you are only 1 or 2 weeks pregnant you wont really feel anything, you may get a few butterflys in your stomach, but thats a little to early to tell

Yeah you need to really go see a doctor cause something is up with you if you experiencing pain when you bend over. You may be pregnant or your period might be coming on

you really ought to get a pregnancy test....if your scared...u'll be even more scared if you dont know for sure. umay or may not be pregnant! its in your best interest to go and get a home pregnancy test...or to see your OB/GYN.

Hotnsassy..... If you have not had your period on time, you must take a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant, you need to plan on what your next steps are going to be.

Pregnancy symptoms (such as nausea, tender breasts, etc..) do not show until around the time when you are supposed to start your period. Which is why so many women think their period is coming when it is really pregnancy symptoms.

Butterflies wouldn't happen until you are about 16 weeks pregnant (that's 16 weeks since your last period). Your waist may start getting thicker at about 8 weeks, and your belly wouldn't really pop out until you are 3-4 months along. It's different with all women, but not *that* different.

If you are about 1 month pregnant, you may be feeling really tired, having nausea, feeling light headed, and you may have very tender breasts.

Take a test. If you are pregnant, you need to start considering prenatal vitamins because they are very important. If you don't plan to continue your pregancy, its a decision best made as early as possible.

You might be getting the flu, have gas, ate something funky if you are getting those 'butterfly' feelings. I get the butterflies when I'm nervous or right before my period. I used to get those feelings when I held hands with boys when I was a kid.
But, you won't know if you are pregnant unless you take a pregnancy test. Don't forget to see a doctor. And someone touching or bumping your stomach won't make you lose your baby, but punching and kicking and shoving could--do don't hang around violent people.

that to early to show any signs the best thing for you to do is get a pregnancy test and take it you win't notice any changes in your stomach until you are about two months going on three but you may use the restroom more frequently and you may have morning sickness but until then take a test and find out

I always get sick like imma vomite a lil afta 12 am it be like 12:19 or so and I feel sick ta mah stomache. or when I get done eatin sumtimes I feel like imma puke then 2.

I am experiencing the same problems as well, and the best solution to tell you if what I have heard, read and from previous experience is most people do not really start showing symptoms of pregnancy until they are about a month or so along,but every woman's body is different, I am pretty sure you probably found out by now if you are pregnant or not, but I am just now probably about 3 weeks along if I am the only thing I have experience so far is implantation bleeding.but I wish you luck in finding out your solution on the swelling hope you get the results you are really hoping for.!

Hotnsassy, I truly hope you aren't for real. To be questioning people over and over again about a possible pregnancy and acting as if you've not read a single word they've said for THREE MONTHS is infuriating! TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST!!! You should have been getting prenatal care this entire time if you're pregnant. If you can't take care of your baby now when things are still easy, then you seriously need to give it up for adoption.

It's too early, you should see some swelling around 12 to 16 weeks. It also depends on how big your baby will be.

You would not be able to 'feel' being pregnant 2 hours after having s*x. I was 7 weeks along before I had ANY symptoms. Except for a missed period, but I'm really irregular so I didn't think anything of it. And I'm six months and just barely starting to show, but have a healthy boy in there measuring well for my dates. Wait until you have missed your period and take a damn test. That's the only way to know.

Since me and my fiance started trying for a baby, I've been doing some research on the signs of pregnancy and when they occur. This is what I found out.

Women who have regular periods are usually the most fertile between on your 12, 13, and 14th day of your period and ovulate around your 15th day. The egg can only stay alive for 12 hours without being fertilized. These are not the only days you can get pregnant. You can get pregnant at anytime during your cycle, it just depends on when you ovulate.

The egg usually implants itself in the uterus 6 to 8 days after ovulation, but it may take longer for some women. This may also cause cramps, spotting, or a brownish colored discharge.

Nausea (morning sickness) is caused by a hormone that the egg releases after implantation. Some women experience morning sickness as early as the day after implantation, but most don't start until 3 weeks after ovulation. As I said before this does not apply to all women. It is different for everyone.

Breast pain is also caused by a hormone that is released when you become pregnant. It may start out feeling like the same pain you get before you start your
period and the pain will increase. This pain should go away after your body gets used to the hormone.

There has been a study that I read about on home pregnancy tests. There was only one test that consistently detected pregnancy on the first day of a missed period,

well im on baby number 4 and with my first didnt show till bout 5 months even then only a little when I was 9 months only looked like I was bout 5months pregnant so every women is different, with this pregnancy im only 3 months gone but look like im bout 6 months already? im dont want to tell anyone yet but finding it hard to hide it, I feel diffent with this one too I feel things in my belly like butterflies didnt get that with any of the others, have not had a scan yet so hope im not having twins lol?

hey everyone I am about 1 1/2 months pregnant I am experiencing headaches,dizziness,swollen breasts along with some tenderness, I also have a tight stretching feeling in my stomach, I sometimes feel like I am really constipated. I am still waiting on my ultra sound appointment I might be a little farther into the pregnancy but if I am not then this is just what I am going through.

I am 5 months pregnant.. I got symptoms 5 days after ovulating... a lot of you seem WAY to young to be having sex. You shouldn't have sex when you cannot take care of it. Saying that you think you are pregnant forever and not ever going to get a pregnancy test and you just keep posting on here that you think you are pregnant just sounds like you have no 'real life' friends and just want some attention so you just keep posting on here for the attention. If you are pregnant you would know it. You would have most of the symptoms by now and the most obvious NO PERIOD.. grow up kids, don't bring something in the world that you can't take care of. I thought I was pregnant a few weeks ago and then it turns out I wasnt I got my period and all.a few days later I had sex and my boyfriend ejaculated inside of me. it was 5days after my period. im really light headed, I have a heavier appetite, mood swings, nausea after I eat. look guys, I am trying to get pregnant but I am 23 and married, and have been married for 4 years. I have had a baby when I was 18. I do not remember many of the symptoms. I know your breasts get sore and all that. I do not have time to get off work to go to the doctor. I am pretty sure I am pregnant becuase I sleep a lot. Just thought I would share a little. Now why I am really writing this is becuase I can not believe some people would not even take a home pregnancy test. I am going to take one in the morning. Its is also hard to understand why some of the people on here are not on birth control??? Why not use a condom. When I had my first child I was by no means ready for one. I went through an open adoption agency and it was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I stay in contact though. if your man truly cares abut you he will wear a condom. If you are sexually active you need to be on BC. Your doctor will keep it confidential. and if you go to take a test at the doctor he will keep it confidential. You need to be stable before you even think about getting pregnant. I.E. a job ,home, health insurance, blah blah blah. I mean really guys. If you are young like under 18. You really need to consider adoption. You are not ready for a child. It is a major responsibility and very expensive. you are responsible for a child. if you can not be responsible for yourself and not go to the doctor, you are not ready for a child. I am not saying it to be mean just saying it from experience. Here is an adoption agency number they are awesome and you get pictures and letters from the family that adopts them all the time. You set the guidelines for the adoption, you even get to pick out the family. They are called a child's hope 1-919-839-8800. I just found I was pregnant, and I couldnt tell at all, I was allready 7 weeks and 2 days when I went to the er, I'm now 10 weeks, and I feel the hardness and the swell but if I wasnt having pains, I would have never went to er, and I probley wouldnt have found out untill I was atleast 5 or six months. I think that a lot of us younger women teen girls and what not should really look after and be on top of our periods. I only payed attention to mine because I elt sick and my breast hurt, but I dont have a regular period, so it was easy for me to just look past not getting one for two months.

well sometimes it's hard for people to get pregnancy test. I am 16 and about 4 weeks late for my period. I have been trying to get a test but I don't have a job which means no money and no car so no ride. So I have no way to buy one. I would have gotten pregnant in October mostly likely the 13th or the 19th. I have been sleeping more than usal and feeling sick to my sick but not vomiting. So what is ya'll opinion on that? And by the way I am not looking for ya'll to look down on or talk down about me. If I am pregnant the baby wil be the best mistake me and my boyfriend have make.

I don't mean any disrespect, but if you can't afford the test...how can you afford to take care of the baby? It's a lot cheaper to invest in condoms or BC than it is to take care of a baby for the next 18yrs.

OK if you are 1 or 2 weeks then you can't feel anything no fluttering butterflies especially because the baby doesn't move until later like the 2nd tri. All you feel are nausua, hunger and stuff like that. and you won't be bigger because the egg or whatever is still in your pelvic area. your uterus is not yet moving into your stomach area.

Acutally I am havin a problem I had a period...(that I was waiting 4)..But I still think I'm pregnant yes I know I should get a pregnancy test but I had a few questions...If I am about 1 month pregnant should I be gettin morning sickness???Because sometimes out of the clear blue I just feel sick(sometimes early in the morning then I get them sometimes at night)...And I sleep a lot longer and I just want 2 sleep sleep sleep...I feel a discomfort when I am trying 2 go 2 sleep (laying on my stomach)breast feel heavier and still tender from when I had my cycle this month..and actually I have had the dizzy feelings...Constipated stomach cramps(but also I took in mind I just had my period so I know thats not coming)and I know you can have period while pregnant...So...I'm just like I dont know what 2 do I'm just looking for alil answers and advice as far as what I should do...And does anyone else feel this way???

well I am 14...1 week ago I had sex with my boyfriend...well we have had sex in between then 2. & we had sex about 1 month ago. I think I am pregnant. Because I eat more. My stomach has been hurting & my moms said ut could be nerves well she put me on birth control about 10 months ago & she said if I am preg it wont hurt the baby. I need answers my mom and his mom said if we have it we know how to take care of it & we have support.
