I'd go ibook, only because I switched to a mac in December, and LOVE it. Vista from what I kept reading is slower than XP, no matter what you do...and, I hate knowingly signing up for a slower computer.

Personally, I think a computer is never too fast...and I've yet to meet somebody who said "I wish mine was slower".
