What are some ideas for a website?

I just bought a domain for a website I'm hoping to launch in the New Year, and I'm trying to get some ideas on what to put on it.

So far I've kicked around a few ideas, but all I've settled on is a webcomic (I've been working on it for about 6 months),...

and a funny "How to" series (done by some really hilarious film students). Naturally, there will be open forums, and possibly an IRC channel off it. Anyone else have any ideas as to what should be put up? The website is mainly going to be based around tech stuff, internet oddities, and general day to day stuff the standard pseudo-geek would be interested in.

Ideas?

(Please note: I'm not looking to turn this into a grand-scale myspace page, so it's not going to be an 'all about me, this is what I like, these are my pictures' type page. Please suggest interesting tech-type ideas)

I can throw out any idea, its really up to the webmaster of course, I could tell you to make this website about gaming, but then you might not like gaming, I could tell you to make it about your webcomic (wich I am looking foward to because I read a lot of cyanide and happiness at http://www.explosm.com) what you should really do is look at other sites to see what they have that you might want

I have taken web design beginning and advanced so I know a thing or two ^_^
