That's a good question, as I would like to know myself. From what I've seen so far, You can rate questions as helpful or not, but there doesn't seem to be a way of picking a best answer, per se. On the other hand, if rating an answer as helpful is equivalent to picking a best answer, that is pretty cool, since in effect, you can pick up to 3 best answers per question instead of just one. There are often times when more than one answer is very helpful or informative.
To EVERYONE who answered my Question :
THANK YOU!
To those who said... "Me too" : Now I don't feel "quite" so dumb. Thanks.
To those who said... You may rate 3 answers; either helpful or not.:
Ah! This IS better that just one!
To Leslie... who said "well, then, only rate ONE as helpful" :
She's RIGHT. Three is pretty cool.
For Ty ... who said "Tried it; didn't like it as well..." :
GREAT! to hear! First, because the site tried something new...
(it could have been a good idea) and second, because the site
LISTENS! to it users! And they changed it back! Woo-hooo!
There's an new experience)... But mostly THIRD...because it's good to
be on a site where the MEMBERS like being able to award /receive THREE
Helpful! answers.
And to Dizz, who's answer is the reason I'm doing this...
You're so smart! Great idea! }:>
