I want to perm my hair

Hey I really want to perm my hair, but im waiting until it grows longer. right now its down to my chest. I also want my natural hair color to grow so im not going to dye it anymore. I also wanted to know if your hair is permed are you able to straighten...

Honestly, I had dyed my hair last summer and I liked it at first but after a few weeks, I didn't want it anyomore. So I got the hair straightening perm and got rid of it! I was happy. It just didn't turn out the way I thought it would and I got sick of it easily, but maybe you'll think different! I dont know, just make sure you really think about it. Also, you shouldn't dye your hair while it's permed since you already have all the chemicals that damaged it, so your hair will probably get a little dry looking. If you straighten it while its permed, it might end up frizzy.

I've permed my hair twice, and you got to watch out, because I got huge tangles on the underside of my hair. but yeah, I could straighten it, it just took a little longer. I got tired of my perm pretty fast. the guy who did it said it would only last 6 months or so. and it lasted over a year. so I got sick of it. then I wanted to be prettier, so I did it again. and its still wavy. so a perm might be good on you. give it a try. and if you dont like it. spend 3/4 hour straightening it ^_^

You might want to wait until it is a little longer yet chick because my friend did hers when her hair was down to her chest, when it was permed it was as short as a bob =| so I would reccomend only if you want shorter looking hair!

I never got my hair permed before but my friend did and she had hair down to her chest and they came out really bad and reeeaaaly tight curls. so make sure you get someone good to do it and not to leave the stuff in too long or your hair will burn and get icky
