I want to let it go

Asked by nirvanafan 5 months ago, 7 answers.

The light blue tint of the summer sky
Holds my promises for a bright tomorrow
It gives me hope without saying so
But I know that it wants me to let it go

The silver stars that explode and
Fade into red frozen translucence
Give me a subtle wink before...

they pass
Telling me in secret to make this feeling last

The wildflowers glowing with their own form of sunshine
The kind that reflects the mindset of my healed heart
Bloom only to smile and remind me
That I've finally broken free

This poem is symbolic of my desire to let my inner struggles and anger go. I wrote it when I felt like I finally did move on. But there are still those times...someday, however, I will forget it for good.

What did you think?
