I want to but kind of afraid

Asked by spawn 2 months ago, 4 answers.

I want to join the Marines,
but Im kind of afraid to.
I dont know why Im afraid to join,
because its something I want to do.
How can I be less afraid of joining
or how can I make the feelings of being afraid go away?

Talk to a representative. They should be able to tell you about all the benefits you'll acquire while enrolled. But it is okay to be afraid, I think, but don't let it disable you if you really want to do this -- especially since this is something that is bigger than you are, something amazing, something you can contribute to. You could also ask the representative about things you are doubting, get some clarification about things.

You'd probably be much more at ease with the Air Force - more like a civilian job after basic training...I wish you the best !!

I'm an ex-Marine. However, unless you have a specific reason for wanting to join the Marines, I'd recommend the Air Force. You would accrue the same benefits but might find better opportunities in the Air Force.

No matter which you choose, consider talking with some recruiters to help you become better informed and more at ease with your decision.
