I want him to like me back at least as a friend

theres dis guy in my school who I liked for nearly a whole year. I told my friend about it and she told him that I like him and she said that I want to go out with him which was embarrasing. then the whole school found out. now I think he really hates me...

and people tell me that he hates me. but for some reason everytime we walk past eacother there is always eyecontact even from far away distances. what shouLD I do?

what do you mean by you want him to like you atleast as a friend? It was not right for your friend to go up to him and tell him that you like him. If you really wanted to be his friend, you could have gone and initiated it your self. why get your friend to do it? And as for him liking back remember cloud9baby, you cannot make anybody like you or be your friend. If you do that then that's neither true friendship nor true love. I know life can be difficult and confusing...I'm not sure of your age but it sounds like you are probably a young adult. Listen you need to find out if you want to be his friend for real, or is it just a "high school" lust thing. Your friend did you wrong but that happens...you can learn from it or let her double cross you again. If this guy is worth your friendship God will make it happen.
