I want her to be my girlfriend, should I ask?

Asked by cmg5363 7 months ago, 6 answers.

I'm in a bad situation. ok. so I met my best friend in 3rd grade and she and I have been best friends ever since. she knows I really like her, and once she's asked me out. suprise! so we tried it and it didn't work out. we never had a chance to see...

eachother. so were both in 8th grade now and I have 0 friends except my lunch table. I'm affraid of asking her out because if I get rejected 1, there goes my favorite person of all time, and 2 there goes my lunchtable and I'm off on my own. what do you think I should do? ask her or play it safe?

You had a go at it already, and it didnt work out. Sometimes friends are just better off staying that way!

just play it safe, if you've been bestfriends with her since third grade, and you're in eighth grade now. five years is a LONG. time to like someone with barely anything happening. and if when she asked you out, nothing happened, and you didnt get anywhere besides awkward moments, then she just asked cause she felt bad. I don't know, it sounds like a bad idea to ask her out.
