Do shy guys ever tell girls that they like them?

Ok well I took the advice of the internet, my friends, and also what I though was the right thing to do. I told this kid who I've know for about a yer that I liked him. I was at church and it was after the wensday crossfire and we were all paying games...

in the gym. I had my 2 friends tell this guy to meet me in the Kindergarden hallway. They said he seemed really excited. Well, when he came so did his best friend, but he and my 2 friends went away. So we sat down next to each other and I said " this is kinda awkward." he agreed "kinda" So he said do you want to walk over there? we did and I said. "do you like me" he asked why?I said because I need to know cause I kinda like you. He said well I like you as a person. and I said oh. He said he liked someone 2 years older than him and I said ok. I don't really remember anything else he said becauseI was sooo nervous. But all night he would look at me and through me the football. After I asked him he ran off with all of his friends for a while. Keep in mind 3 weeks ago he told his friends he liked my hair. We also have flirted soo much in the past. He has held my hand and touched my face and teased me a lot. I know this might mean that he liked me then but my question is that do shy guys tell they like a girl to there face. Do they run off with their friends afterwords. Do you think he likes me even after he said as a person. I do kinda but I am not for sure.

He doesnt sound like a shy guy. I dont understand why you dont believe him when he says he likes you as a person. He told you he liked someone 2 years older than him.

There is really no indication that he likes you that way!
