Am I becoming obsessed with my weight?

Asked by daruby about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

It's been about two weeks since I started looking at my weight and height...I'm 5'8", 19 years old and my weight its at 200 lbs or at least it was back then. I decided to change that by eating healthy and doing exercise more often. I usually go to the gym...

for 3 to 4 hrs. I also started taking diet pills and it says to take three meals per day but I usually just eat one and it's not a big meal at all..either a sandwich or something like that and juice or water but its b/c im not that hungry. I dont know if this is getting out of control. I havent check my weight since then, I'm afraid I might of lost a lot in such a short amount of time and I know thats not right. But I do look better than before.

Hi,

Well you're definitely not eating enough. One sandwich a day isn't enough to sustain you to be a healthy person. If you're really not hungry and that's why you aren't eating more, you should see your doctor! You can also try eating small meals more times a day and try to adjust to having higher food intake. You need a certain amount of calories to be healthy, otherwise your metabolism will stall and you'll actually end up gaining weight.

Good luck.
