I suck at making friends

my current friends, I've had since 6th grade. I'm in 10th grade so we all got really close. they're all starting to get stupid though. and change to "fit in" with the trends and to "be cool". which is so fake, and I can't stand it at all. and they know...

I just need better girl friends.
I have a lottt of guy friends, cause they're less dramatic and easygoing. : )

but because of that, girls at my school think I'm a slut for being so close to my guy friends. and they always give me shiiit for it. which is so stupid. cause im not.

I know what you mean, when I first went to hs I didn't know anyone because I was in a private school for middle school years. anyways. 9th grade sucked because I didnt know how to become friends. but I decided that for 10th grade I would just be me and not worry about it. I walked up to this girl in one of my classes and said hey, I have no idea who you are, even though I think you were in my class last year. anyways, just don't be afraid to start a convo and don't give a sh*t if they dont like you, if that's the case they dont deserve to be your friend anyways. it works, now I have the four best friends in the world and a bunch of other really good friends. it's hs, there's lots of different people, you just have to find ones that know fads are for fools. good luck and I hope I helped, funmail me if you need to

have you tried hanging out with older girls? they'd be more mature, which seems to be what you're looking for. you could also try hanging out with girls that are active in a religion, as they're usually more mature for their age. mind you, they're active in a religion, so if you aren't, things might get awkward. -not necessarily, but something to be wary of, nonetheless. anyways, just some thoughts for you...

I did the same thing in high school...I always related to guys better (for the most part I still do)...Chics always seem to be too mean to each other...they will say things that hurt because of their own insecurities...and that does not help the ones they are saying it to!!! Now that I am older I have more female friends...they tend to mellow out as you get older...I supose it is because they finaly figured out where they belong in life...but you will run into the few that think they are still in high school...and it's like would you please just grow up and shut up!!! Just know your mind is high than theirs and if it is bothersome to be around them because they are acting like something they are not, then your not missing out on anything, you got your own thing and your own individual self that is what makes you you as a person and will get you far in life!!!

I would tell the girls to suck it and there just jelous because they can't be as close as you are to the guys and the guys obviously like you better to make friends if you like someones shirt hair shoes clothes etc. tell them it will make your day and there day better and maybe if you don't know them get to know them a little each day and you will be friends in no time...what I do I put myself out there...im loud(and listen and respect what people say)...im not shy... and always put my 2 cents in people respect and admire me for it and my friend tell me that people are just attracted to me...so put yourself out there be nice to everyone and earn the respect that you deserve you will respect yourself and people will respect you and you will have tons of friends
