I never thought I'd ask this...

...but, what kind of hairstyle do you guys think would look best on me? I'm due for a hair cut and a new style but I don't want the hairstyle of the moment, if you know what I mean.

Based on my face type, what would look the best? My hair is a couple...

of inches longer than the photo shows. It's crazy because I am a hairstylist and always giving others advise. Now I need yours.

I wish I could post it here but the link is a paragraph long. But the style I liked is what both of you suggested.
It is short and parted on the side and layered, has that shaggy look. It''s kinda like a style I used to do when I was younger called a shag but not that short. To me, it's always in style and I like the little ponytail thingy. =^u^=

but I think you could totally rock really high layers and a side bang.
it's edgy & fun. and as far as color, I think a dark crimson red would look great.
