At age 15, 5'1" and 115 lbs:

Basic Calorie Needs (what your body burns just by existing): 1232
Resting Metabolic Rate ( rate of calorie burn when you factor in your daily activities): 1971
**Cut your calorie intake from 1971 to 1471 daily to lose 1 lb per week**

BMI (body mass index): 21.16
Body fat Percentage: 23.44

How much of your current weight is fat(estimate) : 26.25 lbs
Weight you should lose to meet your ideal weight = 2 lbs

You should be able to reach that in about 2 weeks easily! Just eat right and exercise.

Most likely you should ask your doctor if you could afford to lose weight because people are built in all different shapes and sizes! I have very long thin bones - My heel to the top of my knee cap is almost 50cms long! And then agian... I have a very short torso! So when I put on weight I feel sluggish because it all goes to my belly. My long thin bones cant support as much... Whatever looks and feels good for you is the way you should be. Just keep up with excersize and you would feel good!
