For you to have a healthy weight you should probably weigh between 105 and 115 pounds. There is no FAST weigh to lose your weight and still be healthy and hope to keep it off.

"What should a minimum calorie intake be?"
As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.
You should try to lose weight in a slow methodical manner. Set yourself reasonable goals of 1 week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months and 6 months. As you start achieving your goals they will all start becoming easier.
Eat a good breakfast, drink 8 eight ounce glasses of water per day, with one before each meal and snack other then before breakfast. Eating a good breakfast helps stimulate your metabolism which helps you lose weight. Also, get lots of good exercise at least every other day.
Im 13 and im 140 pounds to I think that a lot of my weight is in my thighs and my stomach I feel that its hard cause all my friends are skinny but I finally figured out that at my age I cant stick to diets I say ill start today and today turns into next week I just tend to cheat but I figured out that im only supposed to consume 1,200 calories aday and I just made all my meals portioned and took alll thje junk uot of my diet and even thouygh the numberts in the scale arnt going down I feel an improvment in my body an d in my clothes! if you ever need a friend you can always ask questions and I promise to answer them !

I am 13 years old and im 5"2 and I am 140lbs.
I have a very low self esteem about my body.
I cant even have a pool party for my birthday because
I am so insecure about myself.
I need a certain way I can lose weight quick
but without getting...
unmotivated.
I have always been chubby but they say
its just baby fat but nothing has changed.
