ok I want to livemy fsmily cause they dont treat me right and I really want to go away from them so I want to go to foster care

I'm assuming your are in school. Speak with your homeroom teacher about seeing a counsellor there. If you are being abused and hurt in anyway find a safe place such as an aunt, friend etc. to stay...to not return to your home. Make sure you see the counsellor and explain to them what is happening. If you fear for your life, you must call the police. Yes, it's okay to do this you have rights and those rights include never being abused by anyone.

I ahve spent the last few years in foster care, and I will tell you it is not at all what most people think and that you really should think about what you are doing before you deside to place your self there. Gettin in is easy and getting out is not. I aged out on the 22nd of Feb. ( means I turned 18 years old).

I do not know what you mean by don't treat you right...if they are abusive then you need to report it. It they are just upset at you for simple things like not doing home work or chores then you will not be removed from the house and those are issues you and your parents need to work out.

CPS wil only remove you if you are in danger...please understand that.

Foster homes are some times great, but not always better then where you are being removed from. Some are jsut as abusive. Getting a foster lisence is easy it is jsut 90hours of classes and finger printting. If you are removed and placed in a abusive foster home PLEASE speak up. tell your social worker do not think you have to stay there you do not they can and will remove you and it will save a lot of other kids from being placed there.

Sadly kids do not speak up because even with the abuse is it often times better then where they came from. It is still not right.

I do not know what to tell you besides to really think about what it is you are doing...and make sure it is the right thing to do it will effect your parents live and any sisters or brothers you may ave as well. If you are not being abused don't say you are because you are not happy living where you are.

Talk to a teacher or call the COPS ( 911) if you are and get help okay.
