2 pieces of bread
3-5 slices of deli meat(turkey, ham, beef etc)
mayo
pickles
tomato
and chips if unhealthy or carrots if healthy

combine everything on top of one bun and put the other bread on top...perfect sandwich and then serve with chips or carrots.

I used to work 12 hour shifts, those things suck. Here's what I did sometimes, I used those pre-made bags of salads. It has the lettuce, croutons, and dressing all in one bag, just put the in the fridge and open and mix when ready to eat!

Heh heh! I love love love that someone just wrote a recipe for a sandwich. That was...adorable, frankly.

Soup is your most economical way to go. A pot of homemade minestrone or chicken noodle costs about 20 bucks, and lasts for about 15 bowls. Freeze it in tupper/gladware and it's a grab-n-go meal. Plus, soup really lets you stretch your creativity in the kitchen. Experimenting with finishes alone (balsamic? lime? who knows?) could last through to the next presidency.
