If no-one at your school will go with you, then try to get someone who doesn't go to your school to go with you. Maybe its someone you know, maybe its a friend of a friend. There will be someone who will want to go with you!

So, if you can't bring a guy date, bring a girl with you. One of your friends that does or doesn't go to school with you. You don't have to bring a date, and in today's society, it's a lot more acceptable to bring one of your girlie mates, get all dressed up and go as singles.

Either that, or as Dani_land_234 points out, if it's going to be that traumatic without a date, just don't go.
