I have felt this way all my life! I definitely didn't hang out with adults cause... well no. I usually hung out with older kids. In highschool, as a freshman I hung out with juniors in my school and some seniors. They think differently, they're more open-minded, more mature and more wise. I usually associated myself with those who were around 2-3 years older. Maybe you could do the same?
I use to feel that way. Then I started hanging out with kids who were a few years older than me... which just made me more open to a whole world of things... so now I don't really mind hanging out or having conversations with people who are less mature than me... but I also find myself hanging out with adults aswell... just because.. well, I can... and I enjoy that kindof company. So, if you try doing something like that, it may make you feel a bit better.

Stuck in the middle: too smart for teens, too young for adults
I feel like I'm too smart for teenagers my age, but not smart enough for adult conversation at times. It makes me feel like I'm somewhere in the middle of it, and I don't know anyone else who's been between here. What can I do to feel like I'm normal?
