Why is everyone always asking if they're ugly?

Why are pple always asking if they're ugly? That question is for their best friends who will always be honest with them

I think they just need reassurance about themselves. Maybe someone was rude and told them that they were ugly or whatever and they feel comfortable asking the question here for a second or something. I personally don't care for those questions much either and try to ignore them. I'm sure people will keep asking the same questions over and over and keep getting the same kind of responses, the only thing you can do is answer them or pretend they're not there I guess!

It's because some may be ugly according to hollywood standards, so they want to know from real people if they actually do stand a chance at getting a guy.
