How can I forgive my friend for what he says to me?

every time I call my friend and I tell him about my life like how a guy got on top of me phisicly hurt me then strangled me or when I tried to commit suiside all he says is

"you know what take your problems to someone that cares and maybe you are...

better of with those cuts on your arms because no any cares about you!" then he hangs up the phone and calls 2 mins later saying sorry, I want to forgive him but will make up for all the things he said to me?

wow, he might like you as more then a friend, and maybe when you talk about other guy's he dose'nt like it, or maybe (sorry to say it!!) you might be alittle bit selfish, maybe he dose not alway's want to talk about your problem's all the time, I.d.k. maybe he's just not a good friend. good luck with that one,

oh and duh, what's wrong with me? he probalby care's about you so much, he dosnt want to hear you say that you try'd to kill your self.

ummm...dose he have some kind of mental illness? I mean he says tha to you then hangs up when your suposed to be friend and then he thinks apoligising will make it ok searicly I wouldnt say that to my most hated kid
