I am having fish problems and I dont no what is wrong

ok I have mickey mouse fish and I have had them cents they where babys and then I got a snal well 2 weeks later the snail died so I got 2 more snails and 2 weeks later one of thouse died so I got 2 more and now my snails are looking funny there shell is...

all brocken up. now I am seeing black dots on my mickey mouse fish I looked it up and it said it was from the snails. but now one of my moma mickey mouse fish died and it did not even have black dods on it this fish was pregnant and was going to have babys in a few days what is wrong with my fish?? what can I do to get my snils shell back? how do I get the little black dots off my fish?

You better call the Pet store and talk to a professional about the health and balance of your aquarium. Something is not clicking. I would be down there (the store) bugging them until I found the person that has an aquarium and knows what they are talking about.

You also need a good Reference book. Visit your local Library and do some research

I would start by taking a water sample to your local pet store and getting the water tested.. Also are you doing regular water changes on the tank (25% atleast 2 times a month). You should use a syphon hose for that to suck out all the waste and muck and unused food from the bottom. Also you should remove the filter cartride and rinse it with cool water halfway thru the month dont wring it out or you will lose all the live bacteria growin on it. Then replace it in the tank, and then about on the 1st of the following month change the filter cartridge. but dont do the water changes on the same day you do the complete filter cartridge change.. Live bacteria is what keeps your tank healthy.. the black dots are a sign your fish is stressing. As for the snails losing their shells and dying, well that all goes back to water quality as well... So start with taking some water from the tank to your pet store.. Make sure its in a sandwich bag or a plastic disposeable cup or something that hasnt had any contact with dish soap.. hope this helps
