so I understand hair bleach is basde om hydrogen right? so if you go pure hydrogen from a chemistry shop and diluted it could you color your hair?

The hydrogen involved is hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and I'm sur that the bleaching effect has to do with the breaking of one of the oxygen bonds, and, no, you can't just use oxygen.
