Hpv and cervical cancer?

Does anyone know anything about high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions? My doctor said that I have this as well as HPV. I am to understand that it is considered to be stage 1 of cervical cancer. Is this true?

hey, it's not the end of the world. stage one is easy to treat (if that is what you have). the statistics are outragious about how many young sexually active people have HPV, so don't feel like a leper. you'll be ok.
