If you were preganant how would you tell your parents?
Asuming you dont have the best relationship with them?

tell them you are gay... then laugh and say just kidding, I'm preggo. and walk out of the room. or if you want to berespectful, you could sit them down and tell them you need their support. if you are pregnant, your relationship with your parents is about to change drastically. might as well start it off on the right foot.

Just sit down and tell them you are pregnant. Parents are great to have around when you find yourself in this predicment. Treat your parents respectful and don't act Stupid like meganhead suggested. Let them know that you will accept the responsibility, but that you also need their help. Good Luck!

Sorry meganhead. I read that wrong. You had two words running together and I read it wrong. I will take my fifty lashes.

I guess I would have told my mother first. She would have been more understanding and less likely to react. My dad would have thrown things for a while before accepting it.

You have to expect that they would be shocked and horrified in the beginning. It's what every parent worries about, but every sitiation I've seen around me, cousins, aunts etc. it has always worked out well and the grandchildren have been adored.
