How would I deal with this?

Asked by fau 8 months ago, 5 answers.

I just have this thing bothering me and I want to get it off my chest. I love my grandparents with all my heart, they mean the world to me. I would never disrespect them or anything. I know everyone passes sometime. And it just kills me not knowing when,...

I promise when something happens to them I wont be the same person at all, ill be going through depression. Even as a young child. I was wishing something would happen to me before anything ever happened to them. Just before they go I just want them to know theres no one else in this world I love more

None of us are guaranteed the next 5 minutes - I would talk to them now or put it in writing (organizing your thoughts) and present it to them now...I wish you the best !!

hey, its best not to think about things like that until they happen. You can really beat yourself up when you don't need to. And im the same as you, I hope I go before any of my family members because I don't handle death well. But you will be able to push through it like people do. Its how you treated them when they were alive thats going to make you feel better about the passing. So ya, do what amblessed said, even though they probably know how you feel

Anyone could die at any time. Some people live till they're 110, some people die when they're 25. You can't take anyone living past that second for granted. So don't worry so much about your grandparents. Worrying about what could happen will just ruin the time you have with them. Enjoy whatever time you have. If you believe in an afterlife then maybe take comfort in that thought.

Kay,
Consider yourself lucky!! One of the ways you can always keep them in your life forever..is to adopt a lot of the traits you love in them..When you have kids and grandkids, deal with them on the same level as your grandparents deal with you..This way they never die. Their physical body has gone but their spirit is actually living on through you, because they make such a powerful impact on you. (This is ongoing) Your kids and grandkids and maybe even your great grandkids will benefit from the powerful love of your granparents. I hope this helps..if not funmail me..OK?

Better they go then you even though we all have to die sometime,,, you rather put them through the heartache of your death thats kinda selfish
when you die though you will be with them soon enough.
They are in a better place
