How to tone without losing my breasts?

Asked by blimpi about 1 year ago, 4 answers.

hi. I'm 29 years old, and I am a 34A-29-38. my boyfriend loves me dearly but he is somewhat obsessed with breast sizes. I want to tone done for health and lifestyle reasons (after I take the bar exams this sept, I'd like to go do a lot of long overdue...

outdoor activities with my boyfriend) but I'm afraid of losing what's left of my breasts.
my questions are:
1. how can I tone down without losing my breasts?
2. is there a way to increase it by exercising, without necessarily going to the gym, or drinking anything or going under the knife?

1. Toning is good, and I think it's great you're thinking of toning and not of weight-loss. Walking is excellent and there's a lot of good information at http://walking.about.com/ and related pages. since the body is pretty good at setting its own proportions, I bet he'll be pleased that you look more balanced as time goes on, and not worry so much about sizes here or there. At least not if he loves "the real you inside" Maybe you could review test questions while you walk even before you take your exams and get a jump on things.

2. You might think about researching specific exercises to strengthen and build your pectorals, the muscles behind your breasts if you think that's needful, kind of to give them a better platform, but something tells me as you tone up, he's going to become more obsessed with you and less with size. Hope so!

Good luck!

sadly (but happily in some cases) part of breast size is your mothers doing. Genes...
Breasts are largely fat (And someone with less than 7% body fat can even halt a woman's period) We need about 17-23% body fat to conceive and on and on it goes.)

Perhaps a response to your boyfriend might be:
"Honey, I appreciate you desire for bigger boobs. If you want to stay in a relationship with me, you must be happy with the fact that at least these are mine that I have chosen to give you to enjoy. If you don't then I am afraid that we must discuss where your pillow will be in the morning."

WELL YOU SHOULD HIT THE GYM QUITE OFTEN AND DO SOME CARDIO EXERCIES AND FOR YOUR BREAST THERE ARE MACHINES THAT YOU SIT STRAIGHT UP AND PUT YOUR ARMS AROUND TWO BARS AND PULL THEM TOWARDS YOUR CHEST WHICH TONES YOUR CHEST THIS WAY YOU GET MORE MUSCLE IN THAT AREA AND STILL LOOK GOOD. AS FOR ME I FEEL TOTAL OPPOSITE, WHEN I WAS A FEW YEARS YOUNGER I WAS IN WRESTLING AND FOOTBALL WHERE THERE WAS A WEIGHT LIFTING CLASS INVOLVED I GAINED PLENTY OF MUSCLES, I WAS ACTUALLY TRYING TO LOOSE SOME BREAST TISSUE BECAUSE THEY ARE SO BIG I HAD LOST ABOUT 15 LBS AND MY BREAST WERE LOOKED EVEN BIGGER, RIGHT NOW I AM A 36DD I REALLY WANT A BREAST REDUCTION THOUGH.

1. I lost 25 lbs. by exercise and "dieting." I did 2 hours of cardio per a week. I bought a "Lateral Thigh Trainer" for $100 at Modell's and did all of my cardio on it. It's great because it shaped up my thighs and butt which is what I really needed. The machine is also small and fits in my room. I also cut out soda all together and ate yogurt every single day at lunch time. Yogurt is suppose to be really helpful I losing weight and in my case, it seemed to actually speed up my weight loss. I also recommend eating ORGANIC low-fat yogurt. Regular yogurts like yoplait that contain corn syrup or aspertame ARE HORRIBLE FOR YOU. DO NOT EAT ANY FOODS WITH CORN SYRUP OR ASPERTAME. Check your labels. I also recommed to switch all your food to Organic. There's a chain called Trader Joe's and they actually have cheaper produce than in my local regular Grocery store.

2. HOWEVER-I had a 36C cup and after I lost the weight I went down to like a 34C-actually, it could have been a B but I didn't bother to refit my chest and buy new bras. I was really disappointed because I freakin loved my boobs. I think that if you are planning to lose over 10 lbs, you have to expect that you WILL lose some of your boobs, but to help keep them, I would suggest doing more TONING than Cardio. For example, do your sit-ups and squats with small hand weights. You'll sculpt your body and lose weight-with straight cardio, you'll drop the weight all over. As I said, I think it's almost impossible to lose a significant amount of weight without losing boobage. but this is just part of my advice.

I lost that weight on my own. It took me about 6 months. At first the process was slow, but once it start coming off, it melted off. I'm 132 now but I think my next step right now is go to the gym to tone up. I need help toning because I don't know all the correct exercises for all the correct muscles. Planet Fitness has a membership for $20 per month and if I go and get a personal trainer or if I can find out any info on how to lose weight and keep my boobs, I will definately get back on here and tell you!!!

Good Luck, I know you can do it!
