( My friend told me to take my old birthcontrol pills two a day until Sat.)

Birth control can delay your period but since you're not on them currently, taking them so abruptly might not have any effect on your period and actually prolong it.
Plus ""old"" pills might be out dated or could have been sitting in the sun etc which would affect their effectiveness.

If you want to try taking your old pills I really recommend that you call your doctor or pharmacist to confirm that it would be ok to do.

Just remember, it might not do anything at all.

Im on the Depo Provera injection ( just received it last Monday.) I use to not have periods at all ( because I was on the shot for 7 years off and on), but then I got off the shot and switched to the pills. I was on the pill from Nov. til 2 wks ago and I got the shot right after. My period came this Monday heavier than ever, so now do you think it would be okay or any new suggestions??
