We bought some Bing cherries(US grown) from Asda last year.I saved the kernals and put them in a seed tray outside underneath our raised veranda(we live in a static mobile home).Later in the year I just emptied some soil into the tray. While tidying up the garden a few weeks ago one of the area's I tackled was under the veranda. To my surprise I had two seedlings emerging and another one of the kernals was just breaking open.I split them up and potted them out & put them in a shaded place. The two seedlings are now about three inches high and the other kernal is just beginning to shoot.I did read somewhere on a Google listed site that the kernals need frosting to encourage germination.Hope this helps.Frank
PS. I just noticed another kernal in the tray is breaking open.
