Whenever you want, as long as its through the healing process. I change mine daily, so it matches what I'm wearing.

hey girl! I change and take mine out all the time... BUT, my sister has had hers longer than I've had mine and hers bleeds and hurts her really bad everytime she messes with it or takes it out. I guess it just depends on how you heal... good luck
