Example:
With 5' 7" weight at 135 goal of 125=21.14 BMI is in 'normal' range (see below) goal is 19.58 BMI.
BMI Categories:
Underweight BMI <18.5
Overweight BMI 25-29.9
Normal weight BMI 18.5-24.9
Obese BMI 30 or greater
Limitations of the BMI:
The BMI measurement is a reliable indicator of your total body fat. The score you get is valid for most people over age 18 with the following exceptions:
It may overestimate body fat in athletes and those people with a muscular build
It may underestimate body fat in older people and others who have lost muscle
This is a bmi calculator, http://www.revolutio... keep in mind that it is a very vague thing that doesnt take into account things like body structure, muscle mass etc, but it will give you a jumping off point...
From a woman's prospestive I myself think you look tough as hell.I don't think you need to lose nor gain any weight, any man would be crazy not to think your hot!!!
I like my weight. I'm 54 and I'm 5'8" and weigh 115. If you just had a baby, you may still have extra weight, but it will go away soon. I think that if you're 5'7", anywhere from 110 to 130 is good. But, really, it's how you feel about your weight that counts. Just eat healthy and exercize and hope for the best.
