How much does image really say?

Do you personally believe someone's image says anything about how they are?
We all see such critical things being said about people on here and other places, but when it comes does to it. Does image really mean anything about who someone truly is?...

Examples:
- Someone dressing skimpy being called a slut.
- Someone dressing different being called emo.
- Someone dressing high class being called a prep.
& the list goes on, you get what I'm saying...

When you see someone personally, do you think you already know something about their personality before even talking to them?

Yes, sometimes image can say a lot about who you are...it depends how you use it, but generally it does tell people a little bit about who they are...its not always fare but neither is life...

it just really depends, humans are always going to be judgemental, you shouldnt get worked up over it cause unfortunatly no ones going to change cause its in our nature to be judgemental...

I think you can always tell something about that person on how they are dressed, not always though, some girl I know where I lives dresses like a slut, and she actualy is one, but some people dress that way to get attenton from guts because they have low self esteem etc and need reasurance. but yer, I think you can tell what type of family there from, and how well of or not they are.

Well the way you dress must say something about you... You chose to wear those particular clothes knowing what they represent to the general population...

Also as humans we instinctively catagorize things and people, so yeah we make judgements based on the way others look... Everyone already forms an impression the minute they meet someone...

I guess the idea is to get to know them and see if your impressions were right or wrong (give them a chance) but most people dont do it...

I say wear what you want to wear, if people dont want to take the time to know you before jumping to conclusions, then that's their problem...
