How many more weight loss questions are we going to have to read?

Thunder Robot Asked by funadvice 10 months ago, 17 answers.

can we make a vote about posting a banner? Like..."For Weight Loss Questions, Use The Search Options To Read Old Archives." Its out of control and annoying. This may sound rude but I know I'm not the only one who gets tired of seeing 50 "Should I lose...

weight", or "how do I lose 30 pounds in {certain amount time}" questions.

some people just need help, and this site is a good way to get it.
who cares if there's a lot of these types of questions, they just want some answers and a good body.

Yes there are a lot of questions like this, but that is because there are many people that have problems and issues with their weight. This is a good site for people with those kinds of problems and I think they have every right to ask what they want. Personally, I'm more sick of the "how can I become anorexic" questions. People that ask these "I want top lose weight" questions just want to be healthier and feel better about themselves, they don't mean to bother anyone... besides this is a place for getting and giving advice.

Also, too many people ask how people think they look, if they're hot, or pretty, would you date me, blah blah blah. It gets old.

Well it's pretty simple. If you don't like these questions don't read them... that's easy enough.

"If you don't like these questions don't read them"

Yeah, well when they wallpaper the website, it's a little annoying and unnecessary, that's all we're saying.

I know, I don't mean to be rude or anything, I do understand what you're saying but I'm also saying that some people need help with that kind of stuff. I think we're the fattest country too actually.

I'm sure some do, but most of the people who ask that are stick thin and have more problems with self-esteem than weight. They're just fishing for compliments.

It's kind of like the guys who come on here and ask, "I have a 15 inch pen*s, is that too small?"

it's only the "am I pretty" sort of questions that annoy me.
but I just don't look at them.
simple.

Yeah but to those that aren't stick thin, they NEED the advice, that's why they are asking for it, because they are overweight and in danger of diabetes, breathing problems, heart attacks etc. And knowing that they ask on how to lose weight to bemore healthy and sonfident makes me happy because I know that they are ready to try and make their lives longer and better. But I guess you just don't understand? I'm not sure. How is that related to the "pen*s" thing? You can't get diabetes, or heart attacks from having a big thingy. Lol.

My point was, it's a similar type of question...thin people asking if they're fat, guys asking if they're well hung, pretty people asking if they're ugly...same old stuff, insecure people looking for compliments.

I applaud anyone with a genuine weight problem seeking advice to change it, and if ONLY those people posted such a question, there wouldn't be this problem. They're in the minority, though.

Okay, I agree. I know what your talking about, because I think that it's annoying too when some person says, "I'm 5'4'' and I weigh 98 lbs, is that fat?" Yeah that is VERY annoying. Or "am I ugly?" And they look like Christina Aguilera. Lol.

HEY. Besides all that- I simply asked if we could vote on a banner. I didnt say "DONT ASK QUESTIONS FATTY I DONT CARE ABOUT YOU". Whats so wrong with having to use old archives? I do it and its helped more in some cases. I do it so I dont have to sound like a broken record. which they do...
