I'm in the same boat. before I went on meds that had a weight-loss side effect I was 126 (5'2" as well), but I just recently was taken off the med and gained 10 lbs right away. some people thing it's odd I know, but what I've been doing is keeping a journal of my calories based on a 2000 calorie diet, eating healthy foods, and also doing abdominal and oblique exercises daily as well as running about 3x/week. I was losing an average of a pound a day but got lazy the past couple days and it's not going anywhere=/ keep your routine, discipline yourself and it should show you results...
Simply a Rose to brighten your day,
And maybe lessen the cares in your way;
And also, too, to help you to know,
That in knowing you, many others grow!
How to LOSE weight?
First, determine from the information below, what your weight should be. Then set yourself goals of a week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. As you see yourself meeting your goals it becomes easier. Remember, you didn't gain your weight overnight so don't expect to lose if overnight. Plus, weight lost slowly is more likely to stay off than weight lost in a hurry.

Info if you are trying to LOSE weight:
"How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?"
One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.
But it's not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.
"What should a minimum calorie intake be?"
As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

Another thing that helps to lose weight is to always eat a good breakfast. That helps to jump start your metabolism which helps start burning calories. Also, try to drink 8 eight ounce glasses of water every day. One before every meal (except breakfast) and before all snacks. That helps curb your appetite which helps reduce caloric intake.
I am also 5 ft 2 and I'm 11 and a half stone which is 161 lbs (pounds) and I'm 14, I have a selfesteem prob because I have autism and I am scared to go out and I'm depressed, I dont over eat and I eat nothing but veggies and healthy stuff, Its lack of exercise but I cant go out because I'm scared because theres a group of chavs that are big and beat people up & smash things and one sexually assulted me so I'm scared. but hopefully I can find away to over come my fears.
I am 5"2', if you eat small portions every 2 hours (fruit/veggies/granola) and exercise regularly you will lose weight. Also if you google "ideal weight" you'll see that for our height the ideal weight is between 109 lbs -136lbs. Your young, you will grow every 7 years, give your body time to adjust. Enjoy life, worry about diets later in life, your a young woman, life gets easier.

How long would it take?
