I just talked to my bank and they told me 14 years on my credit and they can still come after me anytime in those 14 years for the balance. I don't know if they were trying to just scare me or what. But I'm going to try and hand over the deed to the bank which she said would be 7 years on my credit and they will 1099 me the balance which is crap.
