How do I tell my boyfriend that I am emo?

I have been going out with my boyfriend for 2 months and everything has been going great, he amazing. He is super nice and treats me well. He is not emo, he is more jockish. When I am around him I dress and act like a prep because thats is the I was when I started dating him, but now I that I am slowly turning emo. I wonder how I am going to tell him that I am emo??? I have broght up the subject with him before saying that a lot of people call me emo and he he said that he didnt think I was, but thats only because I act not emo around him. Im afraid he might dump me. How and when should I tell him???

just say what you have to say and if he does feel the same towards you he wont have a problem...I mean 2 months and he still thinks you aint emo...

I don't think your emo. And you can't "act" emo either. Emo means being emotional..more so than others; not that you're depressed or sad. Just be who you are. It's the best policy.

Well it really depends, DO you think you are emo? Emo is more than just clothes and the hair and heavy eyeliner.Its Emotions as well! If he really liked you then he won't mind what you are as long as you are you!
I know what you are going through and it's pretty hard to decide these things.

what the f*ck I am sure he will still love you if your emo... but it really doesnt matter anymore! I mean there are so many posers out there! now it is almost just a style... are you sure your not just falling in love with the clothes??

emo is a music genre, usually follower will dres the part in 80's neon or pastel kind of punk clothing
