How do I keep my eye liner from smearing?

All the time my eye liner smears I usually go all around my eye but I tried experimenting to see if it was because I was putting it in the corners that caused the problem and it still smeared. Is it possibly the brand of eye liner? Hopefully you people...

if your constanly touching your eyes that will smear it
it could also be the brand
go to a mall, and test differnt eyeliners on your hand, then smear them
pick the one thats hareder to smear
also after you apply eyeliner you can cover it with a bit of the same coloured eyeshadow
that way its less likely to smuge (when you dont touch it)
and will stay on for longer

dont touch it or use different eyeliner I use jordana eyeliner and it doesn't smear and easy to apply

Well the eyeliner I have is NYC and it does not smear unless you have been doing a lot of physical exercise and if you are sweating a lot.

Most likely the brand - I use AVON eyeliner and I never have smearing problems.

I use Liquid Eyeliner. stays on a lot longer, just don't nudge yourself somehow when you are putting it on.
