if you have layers then sleep on your hair wet
and it will be scrunched when you wake up then take a rolling brush and a blow dryer..
and if you dont have a blow dryer and dont want to do that then just put your hair in pigtails that are twisted or braided[twisted pigtails arnt as much wave and curl as braided] and sleep on it and when you take them out in the morning use your hands and fluff your hair and use some hairspray to make it stay and wax for your roots..
"
[I do this all the time and I have layers so it works.. using rollers are a waste of time..]
first off, make sure your hair is nice and clean...do a good shampooing and then get a volumizing conditioner. once you're done there... blow dry your hair in sections then wrap it around those huge rollers...
as you take your hair out of the rollers spray a flexible hairspray in your hair...Dove has some really good things for this, and comb it out...you can add a shine serum for that extra "POP!" in your hair...
keep in mind this is how I do my hair when I want a nice fluffy, wavy look...it might not work for yours...it all depends on the hair...either that or just visit a salon!
