How do I copy video clips off of youtube?

How do I copy video clips off of youtube to make my own video? all I can do is put pics on my videos.

It's sort of possible, but certainly not easy. Youtube isn't set up so that you can copy video clips, or download them to edit them. Not that it matters, because you're not supposed to do that sort of thing anyway - it infringes on copyright.
