have you ever considered auditioning for americal idol? If you are interested and can't afford it you could go around and ask people to support you in your efforts. We had a girl do that here in New Hampshire and people from businesses donated money for her trip. She made it through the first two cuts. She also won New Hampshire Idol which was pretty cool.

write to american idol look for theier address when there show comes on and then keep writing in hope to have money to get there and stand in that line, my friend did. write to everyone you hear about and look for places like disk makers and where you can record on disk and start to sell them at local flea maket and schools and everywhere.
