The best thing you can do is be yourself, and to be more optimistic about the situation. I believe all of us have been there when we hated the thought of asking our special crush out, or to even admit our true feelings. It's hard sometimes, and yes, I've been there. My advice is to get to know him more. For example, if you have a class with this guy, why not strike up a conversation with him? The best is to not just getting to know him, though mostly becoming friends with him.
