Don't let them watch T.V.. there are tons of better things to do any way reading being one of them.

Explain to them... what is right and what is wrong. What is acceptable, and whats not. Explain what the concequences are for doing the wrong thing. Make it clear to them by being serious, or showing an example. Like the Mortal Combat incidence... that's an example as well. That would be wrong.
