How can I get pretty?

I really, really, really, want to be pretty.
I am surrounded by gorgeous girls. And, while I get occasional Omg! You're sooo pretty(:
im sick of being the average looking bestfriend..

Most of it is just confidence. If you are confident, then you'll let off a natural glow that just attracts people to you. Sure, there are other things you can do. You could experiment with makeup to see what looks best on you, try some new clothes, new hairstyles... just ask your friends what you could do. Take them shopping with you, it'll be fun and they could give you some good tips that you wouldn't normally think of.

A lot of girls change who they are rather than how they look.
Just change little things.
Everyone is pretty, but some just havn't taken care to their appearance.
Make up, clothes, and hair can all be changed in order to fit one's standards,
so go for it!
Try to be confident with your new look,
because then you wont be the "average looking bestfriend!"

I felt like that forever...what was funny was all of the guys in highschool always went to my best friend first...because she was the beautiful one, then they went to my other friend who was the rich one, then they went to my other friend who was the dirty one...if you know what I mean...then they always ended up with me and sticking with me because they learned that although I was just average, I was the funnest and most normal and ended up being the prettiest to them because of those things. so be yourself, be clean, normal, and fun...there is only so much you can do. just have fun and don't worry about who is the prettiest. be your prettiest..

Confidence is the key, and right now it doesn't sound like you have so much. Try excercising, or changing your make up. Also, it doesn't always matter about the looks on the inside if your personality is just too bright to turn down.(Sounds really corny I know)

I think your pretty right now, and yea its just about confidence..but personally I think your already above average

You just have to look in the mirror and say to yourself " Holy Sh*t, I'm gorgeous!". Then you have to believe it.

I say it is mostly confidence. But also if you did unnatural hair colors, and pretty jewlry, and cute clothes that no one else would wear. It would make you stand out of the crowd. And the confidence will always help you with the guys [;
